WHAT IS KLA?

KLA is a consciousness-expanding method that combines millennia-old concepts with modern scientific findings—without the use of drugs or active practices such as yoga, breathing exercises, or hypnosis. It specifically activates certain areas of the brain. This opens up access to states of consciousness that usually remain hidden in everyday life, as most of our mental processes take place unconsciously and are only accessible to a limited extent through conversation. This can trigger profound inner processes that promote emotional processing, regulate the autonomic nervous system, and have a positive effect on mental health.

In this way, KLA works on a deep level and can have far-reaching positive effects on all areas of life.

WHO IS KLA FOR?

KLA is aimed at anyone who wants to strengthen their mental health, longs for clarity or change, or is simply curious about new experiences. It offers support for those who are seeking inner stability, resilience, and emotional balance, who are suffering from stress, excessive demands, tension, or emotional disturbances—even in connection with depression, ADHD, burnout, or anxiety disorders.

In recent years, over a thousand people from very different walks of life and social classes have been supported with KLA.

KLA works both preventively, to avoid stress and build resilience, and as support when acute challenges already exist. The participant lists include CEOs, board members, doctors, and psychologists, as well as people who have been unemployed for a long time.

ORIGIN & PHILOSOPHY

KLA, short for Kundalini Light Activation, is composed of two terms:

Kundalini

 

The term Kundalini activation is not protected and therefore encompasses a variety of practices that appear similar at first glance but can differ significantly in their effects due to small differences. What appears the same or similar from the outside can produce very different results in experience.

The term Kundalini energy originates from Tantra and refers to one’s own life energy. It describes how our connection to this energy is still unadulterated and natural from childhood onwards. Children express their feelings freely and spontaneously. However, as we grow older and increasingly adapt to social norms, many people lose this direct connection to their inner energy. Society often teaches us to control or suppress our emotions with phrases such as “You have to be strong,” “That’s not proper,” or “Men don’t cry.”

Clear Light

 

The concept of “Clear Light” or “Luminous Mind” has its roots in early Buddhist texts, which were probably written more than 1,000 years ago. It describes how our mind is clear by nature. However, external influences, negative emotions, and various other factors cloud our mind and thus our perception.

In addition to the concept from Buddhism, light also stands for consciousness, insight, knowledge, and transparency in our modern age. In psychology, for example, the term “blind spots” is often used, or we talk about “groping in the dark.”

By integrating this ancient wisdom with scientific findings, we are able to demystify it. The aim is to create space for new dialogues and to focus on universal ethical values rather than dogmatic or authoritarian belief systems.

Hello!

I’m Lisa — a practitioner and facilitator of Kundalini Light Activation and someone who is passionate about personal growth, clarity, reconnecting with your body and inner balance.

My journey into energy work started when I was looking for a deeper understanding of myself and a way to navigate life with more ease. Over time, I discovered how powerful it can be to reconnect with the body, calm the mind, and create space for new perspectives. Kundalini Light Activation became a tool that helped me do exactly that — and now I support others in experiencing the same.

FAQs

Do I need any prior knowledge to participate in a session?

No, you don’t need any prior knowledge to participate in a session. You also don’t have to believe in energies. It’s best to participate without any expectations.

How does a session work?

A group session begins with a brief introduction to what KLA (Kundalini Light Activation) is and what you can expect during the session. This is followed by a short demonstration to open up the space. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions before we start the 60-90 minute KLA session.

Since we do not consume any substances or use special techniques such as hypnosis or breathing techniques, you will remain fully conscious throughout the session. All participants lie on a yoga mat with their eyes closed while music is played. The facilitator may lightly touch participants at various meridian points. All you have to do is lie on your mat and let the experience wash over you.

Finally, we close the session with the facilitator giving recommendations for the time after the session and participants sharing their experiences in the group, if they wish to do so.

What can happen during a session?

Each session can be experienced completely individually and differently. Some people have visions, while others experience physical movements. Some experience one of the deepest states of consciousness beyond space and time and feel an infinite sense of happiness and peace. Emotions may also be released, ranging from laughter to crying to screaming. People may also feel energy flowing through their bodies. And, of course, it is possible that the body will not react to any of these phenomena. Whatever happens, you will remain fully conscious throughout the session, so everything happens at your own pace.

It doesn’t matter what you experience or don’t experience during the session. What matters is what happens in your life after the sessions.

What makes KLA unique?

A fusion of spirituality and science
KLA combines the depth of a millennia-old practice with sound knowledge from neuroscience, psychology, and trauma theory. This allows us to create a framework that is not only more accessible but also safer. We work consciously to avoid overstimulation, retraumatization, spiritual bypassing, compensation, and short-term spiritual “highs”—and instead open up a space where genuine, sustainable growth is possible.

Responsibility and quality
The term “Kundalini activation” is not protected – and there are training courses that last only a few hours. We see a special responsibility here. KLA therefore stands for high quality standards and, as a protected trademark, is like a seal of approval for the qualifications of our facilitators.

Comprehensive, holistic training
Our facilitators undergo intensive training over several months – both in personal development and with a scientific basis. The aim is to design safe, well-founded, and effective sessions that support people in their entirety.

On equal footing
At KLA, there is no hierarchy and no “guru” figure. Instead, it’s about mutual empowerment – for both participants and facilitators. Because only those who empower themselves can grow freely. In every session, the focus is on the person, not the facilitators.

Who can participate in a session?

All women, men, and other genders aged 18 and over are welcome to participate in the sessions. Young people aged 13 and over may participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

People with severe mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder, mania, schizophrenia, or delusions may not participate in the sessions without consulting their doctor. Depression and anxiety disorders are not included in this; people with these conditions are welcome to participate in the sessions.

Participation is also not recommended for people who are prone to epilepsy. In addition, people with health problems should consult a doctor before participating. If you are unsure, you should always consult a doctor.

Participation in the session is also not recommended from the third trimester of pregnancy onwards.

I suffer from depression, anxiety, or ADHD. Can I participate in the sessions?

Yes, if you suffer from depression, anxiety, or ADHD, you can participate in the sessions. Many participants report that KLA (Kundalini Light Activation) has helped them with their anxiety, depression, or even ADHD.

Can KLA sessions physically heal my body?

KLA (Kundalini Light Activation) is not a substitute for medical or psychological examination, diagnosis, or treatment. It primarily serves to deepen consciousness. Physical improvement can be achieved through this method in individual cases, but it is not guaranteed and should never be used as the primary treatment.

What is recommended before the session?

It is recommended that you do not eat anything for about 2-3 hours before the session and do not drink alcohol or take drugs for at least 24 hours beforehand. However, please do not come to the session hungry – if in doubt, eat something light such as fruit. Prescription medications should not be discontinued without consulting a doctor. Although antidepressants can reduce the effect of a session, they, like mild painkillers, are not a criterion for exclusion from participation. If you are unsure, you should always consult a doctor.

What is recommended after the session?

Integration is an essential part of the entire process – and is often underestimated. It allows you to truly incorporate the experience into your system.

After the session, listen carefully to yourself and your body:
Maybe you need rest, maybe you want to move or dance – both are fine as long as it feels right.

It is recommended that you drink plenty of water and, if possible, refrain from meat, alcohol, smoking, and drugs for the next 24 hours.

Try to simply perceive what is there instead of jumping straight to interpretation.

Do online sessions work just as well as on-site sessions?

KLA is not bound by space or time, so online sessions can be just as effective as on-site sessions. They are just as suitable for a first session as on-site sessions. However, how the sessions are perceived is entirely individual. Some prefer sessions in their own homes, undisturbed by others, while others love lying in a group on site. If you are unsure, just give it a try.

Can I also book a KLA session privately or for a private group?

In addition to group sessions, you can of course also book a session or even a small ceremony for yourself, yourself and your partner, or a group of friends and family. The date and location will be agreed upon individually. The duration is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours (private session) or 2 to 6 hours (private ceremony).
